Once worn by Darth Vader, the immolated helmet came into the possession of Kylo Ren, who sought to fulfill the legacy of the former Sith Lord. Ren meditated in the presence of the mask—melted in a funeral pyre decades earlier on the forest moon of Endor—in his efforts to destroy the last remnants of the Jedi.
